"Ellie is my favorite person that ever worked for me. There aren't words to describe how impressed I am with her. She takes my flaws and makes them my strength, and changes the way she works to accommodate my needs. She's the best — I got to do what I do best because she took on all the things I absolutely hate with grace and joy."
— Anonymous Client, Permit Expediter | Los Angeles, CA
Our client was a skilled permit expediter based in Los Angeles, working on major commercial and construction projects across Downtown LA — bringing in high five figures annually and excellent at the technical work, but struggling to keep the business running behind the scenes.
The work was there. The talent was there. But the business operations were quietly suffocating him. Payments were falling behind — not because clients weren't paying, but because there simply wasn't enough time to chase them down. Gaps were piling up, relationships were fraying, and the weight of running the business was dragging down his performance in the very work he was hired to do. He was good at what he did — he just couldn't get to it.
The goal was simple: give him his time back. We came in and built an office system from the ground up, integrating technology and web services to create order out of chaos. Strained client relationships were repaired with intention, and a new standard of care was put in place — one that made every customer and project feel like the priority. Every administrative and executive function was taken off his plate so he could walk back into the field and do what he does best.
The Result:
That year, the business crossed well into six figures. More than the revenue, though, he got back something money can't easily replace — his time. He was back in front of clients, doing the work he loves, without the business side dragging him under.
